With the MOT due I gave the MK4 a quick wash as it hasn't been done for few months

After I reversed it off the drive I could see something dripping under the car

It was pink coolant and after a quick look it was coming from above the gearbox side - i thought split hose or the classic broken plastic housing on the side of the block.
Turns out it was just the O ring inside

All fixed in half an hour and it went straight through the MOT with no advisories

Not bad for an old 150k tank Still waiting for all of these problems you guys seem to have with "crappy 1.8T's"
It may handle like a barge but damn I love this car
