My door seals started creaking a little so after some research decided to get some as apparently lots of people have used it for this as well as some EOS owners to stop the roof creaking, i put a little on the felt seals and contrary to what i'd read it actually made the creak slightly worse! :'(  so after a visit to my local dealer who refused to do anything i went to the dealer i bought the car from who took one look at the seals and said "have you put something on these?" I actually had the bottle in the car at the time so i showed him, he said that it had "most likely" made the seals start to perish :o
I'm just lucky really that my supplying dealer is fairly laid back with regards to the VW warranty as it shouldn't really have been covered, they've been fine ever since they were replaced with just a little wax on the body around the door opening.

Oh right, fair enough, I may look for an alternative product then

How come ya rubbers have gone manky? You keep ya car mint so I'm a little confused?

They're not manky tbh, they're clean but just needed a little life putting back into them, i gave the car a full going over today! 7 and a half hrs    clean, clay, full machine polish, seal and wax plus all the dressings including some C4 on all the plastics and rubber which came up superb! Just need to see how it fares over time now.

If it works for you mate then i wouldn't worry tbh, as i say i did some research and it came up trumps for a lot of people, it just didn't work for me..
