Dash Clock...
« on: 08 July 2005, 18:39 »
83 Cabby...My golf was serviced last week for the engine problem...which ended up being a faulty air metering unit...now my in dash clock is off...I'm wondering how to set it to the correct time...all I can think of is disconnecting the battery will reset it to midnight...anyone know.
You think you know...but chances are...you know more then me.

Yes, disconnect the battery for a while and reset the time as usual.

Also check (esp. if engine work has been done by garage!) that the earth strap is present at the right rea rocker cover nut. If it's missing will cause lots of elec probs!
