18" or 19"
« on: 13 September 2012, 17:59 »
Looking to buy Replica Mk5 R32 Alloy wheels for my Golf , they come in 19" and 18" but im unsure what would look best and be the most practical.

As it stands im not planning on lowering my golf because i work in and around town where speed bumps are everywhere .. cant really be bothered hearing the sickening sound of my car getting scraped

what do you guys think 18s or 19s

18s are still big and perfect for golfs, and mine only scrape a tad on full lock. Think ull have more issues with 19s tbh.
My Golf GTi, RS4 reps 17", coilovers, tinted windows, De-cat and middle box removed with 3" oval back box, stage 1 Revo re map, G60 flywheel/VR6 clutch, HID kit, Forge 007p,

Sad truth is, if you're not going to lower it, it'll look like a tractor on 18's or 19's!

If you want it to handle well 17's are the future....

It's possible, but takes more work than most people can be bothered with....
