« on: 12 September 2012, 16:53 »
hi there, iv done a bit of searching around but basically i want some 16 deep dish bbs reps for my car, but i dont know what width and offset to go for to give it a cool sticking out look , without it scrubbing very much. the ones im looking at are 7js with an offset of et 20 through to et 38 what would be the best size to go for , and would i need stretched tyres? please help!!

Go for around a 30 offset, that should be fine.

What Wayne has said is a good et that gives good look and no arch work.

If you roll your arches go for et20

My 8j are et20 and my 9j are et15

That needed rolling and needed to pull my arches out a little.

That will give you a idea of what you can do.

Spacer on the front depends on wheel. If you want a bbs rs split rim rep then yes you will need a spacer.

My guess will be about 15mm if you have the 288mm brake setup.  So ask if you can have two different et's 38 for the front and et20 for the back

The wheels I'm looking at are only available in et 25 through to et 38, both 7js but I have the 280mm brakes so could go 38 on front and 25 on back? Would that work without scrubbing ? Cheers

You said et20 in your first post.
I don't even know what wheels your getting to say if you need a spacer or not.
What wheels are they?
I also said with et20 you will need to roll your arches
