will this inductiin kit fit?

It might but pointless, if you want get a "sports" filter that fits your OEM filter box...
You won't gain anything with mushroom type filters as they suck in hot engine bay air rather than cold(er) air from the outside.

i have a heatshield anyway, just wanting to know if this will fit. am i right in thinking the afm is 70mm ?

ive just installed a cold air induction kit and its all 67mm diameter so your 70mm will fit perfect with a jubilee clip

Yes but you would be better with a Pipercross foam filter as they will not lead to maf issues that oiled filters tend to cause.
