« on: 03 September 2012, 16:13 »
got my r32 rep bumper to put on just need to know what aftermarket mesh to use thats a close match to the gen one so what have people used as dont wanna get the gen grills if i only have to end up bodging them on!!

mainly the size of the honeycomb hole i think will be the main factor here just dont know the gen size!!!

I think it depends on the make of your R32 rep. I got my self a FK rep and it is rubbish, the gen grill will never fit unless it has some major bodging. but i also seen people on here where the gen grills fit quite well with a bit of tigerseal or screwed on. Think I'm gonna go in the direction of saving for a gen front go back to standard.

when i was down at the guys shop where you bought your bumper from they showed what they had done and it involved this in the link it needs to fixed from behind and use very small zip ties the finish was amazing and if the had not told me i would of just thought it were a standard grill at first glance hth dude

That's the sort of thing I'm after but in the close up pic the honeycomb looks very square, that's why I'm after the dimension of the gen honeycomb do it will look as oem as poss

Cheers peeps
