At first glance I'm not impressed to be honest.. What's going on with that nose, looks way too pointy.

So the platform has changed but overall the car hasn't.  The transition from mk5-7 seems more about the interior and even then it looks like the 7 has just carried forward the 6's interior (which to be fair was expected).  IMO in some cases the mk6 was a bit of a waste of time.

I need to find full on rear pic now.

A lot of extras, hopefully they're standard and not optional.
Passat B5.5 2.3 V5 170, with all the extras.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Well apparently certs are that all models will have an infortainment system with a minimum of a 5" touch screen that goes up to 8" for higher end models with NAV.  Also it seems that all models will have an electronic handbrake as standard.  Not sure i'll be happy with that when it comes to handbraking in the snow.

I don't like it at all, lost all sense of character that the Mk1 and 2 had.. even the 3,4 and 5 have some!
