Take engine cover off on the left hand side of the engine near the inlet mani youl see a 3 digit engine code.

Your looking for either AGU, AUM, ARZ or AUQ.
AGU and ARZ have K03
AUM and AUQ have k03s.
1.6-1.8t AGU K03s, Forge actuator, Forge 007p, turbo back exhuast, Ths front mount, Catch can, 5 piece silicone boost pipes and creation sports tip. Stage 2 atm 232bhp 270lbs. Waiting for custom mapping :-)

First thing is to remove the manual boost controller off the car. Put the N75 back on it.
Then remove the little K03 you have replace it with K03s as its a much better turbo

K03 wont go over 200bhp
K03s will be between 210bhp upto 240ishbhp with alot of supporting mods.
The mid range torque on a K03s remapped is amazing!

+1 on what Jamie has said
1.8t's rely on the n75 to control the boost an using a mbc is not the way forward!
The k03s is a much better turbo and a easy upgrade from the k03

R-tech custom remap - k04-001- 250bhp/311ftlb

"Project track car" has begun

You can use both as the N75 is great at controlling part throttle boost and keeping it driveable, and the MBC would help if you were running crazy boost. If you aren't, you don't really need it.

K03s from k03 is a big difference, my mate has just had it done.

Am in the middle of prepping body work ready for paint jazz blue.its got a few small dents on bonet, roof, boot, wings
Should look nice when its done.
I dnt no wether to smooth the bumpers?
Or keep it looking standard.

Where is the best place to source a nice ko3s? I called up a company today and they said we don't do ko3s as we expect too much from them and then get dissapointed!!
