Have just installed a Kenwood BT60u in to my golf and before I took my old Kenwood out the reception was good, not the best but always found the main stations. Anyway I put my new CD player in and the radio reception is now practically non existent, (isn't the cd player I even tried the old Kenwood), it seems to be working brilliant before I put it in the mounting cage but when I do put it in the mounting cage I basically lose reception, so when I took it back out I started to fiddle with the aerial adaptor and the reception seemed to only work when the adaptor was in a certain position. So the question is, is the aerial base f*cked or is it just the little ISO to DIN adaptor?
