Advice on Decent double din
« on: 26 August 2012, 21:42 »
Hey all I currently have a decent setup in my car, using this H/U
http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/products/archive/DEH-5200SD/index.html

And I have two VERY bassy 10" infinitys i shipped from the states last year and paired them with an alpine MRP mono amp.

Anyway, Im getting to the point now that I dont want all this bass anymore

Im after a Very nice OEM looking Double din unit with Satnav, i really like the look of this..

Only think that puts me off is no CD support if it had CD support id get it

Im hoping by asking here some of you could advise on a decent DD that looks sleek/simple :)

How much you wanting to spend? As the new alpine stuff all looks very good! I'm fairness I've been tempted with some of the cheap bargains that come up in the classifieds every now and again!

To be honest, the price isn't the issue its what I want that is.. like I said the 2nd H/U I posted is bang on the money for what im after but with NO CD support it loses my interest.

How often do you use cd's though? If its got all the other spec you wanted how long would it take to get used to not using CDs? I bet it wouldn't take long.

Well then yes it won't be any good for you. I know that for me I wouldn't bother me as I'd just plug the iPhone in.
