I think the agenda behind this thread was to invite lively discussion. And it hasn't disappointed.

It's a free world and I'm glad it is.

Now that is sh!t. Even in a free world. Shame he didn't have bigger wrists, then the tattoist could have written 'water resistant' as it should be.

Yeah, there was a tattoo van at a music festival.

The people he went with all chipped in to buy him a surprise tattoo.

The last time that happened he got a swastika on his leg which he then turned into a battenburg.

I don't have a problem with women having tattoos. I just don't like them if they don't suit them, some people have really silly things in really silly places.

Chelsea has a couple, but they are tasteful and discreet, quite big though.

They can look ok, on the other hand they can also look like a complete abortion. Unfortunately it mostly tends towards the latter.

I don't really understand the whole 'I'm who I am because of my tattoos' thing though - it's just a drawing on your skin, how does that have any bearing on you as a person, surely you can be who you are without some flowers on your arm and some semi-illegible script? Seems a little shallow tbh.

I used to want tattoos when I was a youngun (and stupid), bloody glad I didn't. Phew.

But hey, each to their own - if it's what you want then who cares what anyone else thinks, just do it without starting a thread about it

It's purely out of interest. You don't see many threads about tattooed women, yeah you see photo's of women with tattoos, but nothing big. If the lady wanted to start a thread asking what men;s views were on it, then so be it.

Like said - it's certainatley started a debate! :)

Out of interest, how is it shallow to have something permanent on you?
