Servicing intervals, and service history are very subjective, as long as the current owner is happy with what has been carried out, and a prospective owner is happy with the cars past, thats all thats important

This. Sod spending £125 on servicing when you can do it yourself for well under half that using genuine parts/fluids still and have all of the proof to back it up still. Personally I class a FSH if the receipts are all there, a stamp is just a stamp.

Yes I had been looking for an Oak Green and only Oak Green

But I plan to save money on a respray and have therapy

Awhh, just as I was going to tell you how mine goes to the dealer ones a year for an oil change and another stamp in the book.

That's all I will let them do tho'. The rest of the work gets done at a local specialist.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

My friend who knows Mk2s inside out is seeing the car tomorrow, Friday

Lets hope its a good one - if not the search continues or I go for a Corrado Storm (its green!!)
