One Owner Mint 16V on its way!!

Saw the advert in Classic Cars - one owner Atlas Grey 16v , 103,000 miles at £4995

Been looking for a long time so pursued it. Sadly the owner had died aged 91 and had the car from new

Spoke to the VW main dealer who knew the car before I even gave the reg number. Described by them as mint , fully serviced, anything wrong it was fixed, even a new second hand engine etce tc

They said it was much admired whenever it was in for service and said the new owner would be very lucky to own it

I bought it on the strength of the VW garage saying how fantastic it was + full VW history every year

My mate will do a final look over it just in case .......

You do realise that if it has had VW dealer service all its life, you're gonna have to keep it up. Otherwise it's lack of 100% provenance will affect the value when you sell it on.

I'm sure Ken will buy it off you when you come to sell it.

Its a keeper for me - plus my local VW dealer would be clueless about servicing it. No computer point to plug into!

I would find a VW specialist to service it....


Joking aside What Elvi says is true... Keep the stamps up to date in the book... will mean a lot more in years to come, than what it will cost...
