I finished installing my WMI system at the weekend:

Started by mounting the controller. The AEM kit has the loom coming out the side, with visable wires. I didn't want this, so set about mounting it so the wires would be totally hidden:

Controller mounted in the lower dash panel:

All wired up, earths run to the central earth point under the dash:

Lives run to one of the main feeds in from the battery. I spliced the two controller feeds (Power and LED) together and put them on a spade connector so I can easily remove the lower dash panel in future without having to cut any wires:

Dash back in with LED mounted for the WMI

Onto the pipework, this was my old cold side pipe setup:

One WMI boss welded up for my by Bill:

AEM nozzle test fitted:

I had to trim the throttle body hose down a tad, as the new pipe from Bill was a bit longer, but it all went in nicely:

New pipe route:

All finished :)

Results on the road are very good indeed, intake temps are down by 10 degrees on a 20s run at WOT, so very pleased with that. Peak inlet temps after 20s were 21 degrees on a really warm day, so a top result. It feels stronger too, like a cold damp morning, but every single time you put your foot down. Couldn't ask for more!

Chris is your wmi plumbed into the intercooler or inlet?

Iv seen one at R-tech his is directly into top of inlet manifold.

I to buy a kit but im clueless when fitting something like this, how easy isit?

After a long discussion with fellow wmi users it drew to the conclusion that the best place to install the wmi injector was on the outlet (cold side) of the intercooler pipework before the throttle body to allow maximum time for cooling/atomising of the charge!

The kit is rediculously easy to fit, Few very basic tools needed and the instructions are very good! if you do get stuck devils own have there own forum on there website with members constantly online to help you out

Nice bay dude!
I'm thinking of a similar set up in the boot. I take it you've dumped your spare wheel? How do you like meth?

Nope if you possition the pump in the right place you can still get the spare wheel in like me! WMI is night and day difference, Played a huge roll in the figures I produced after my remap. highly recomended and methanol/water at 40pence a litre its hardly bank braking

Looks good. I think my boot is similar?

I was hoping to fit it in the cut out section where the boot light is if it'll fit. Then the pump in the spare wheel well below? Im planning on getting the AEM kit off eBay.
