How are you cleaning coils?

I found the best method was wire wheel on a bench grinder. Then put a nice amount of copper grease on the threads all the way up and wind up and down a few times. It's been sat for 4 months and I just raised it and fine.

That's fine for a car that's not moving but for one that's on the move, you can't beat chain wax as it doesn't wash off.

Fair shout with chain wax. I used copper grease on the move for months then it sat months and all fine once givena quick wipe. But chain wax does sound good!

Yh gunna leave the helpers in, not planning to go crazy low

Fair enough! I'm not sure if I will be leaving the helpers in or taking them out yet! Not because I want crazy lows, but taking the helpers out and winding the lock plates up to the spring so it fits tight also buys you more inner arch clearance for getting camber/fitment right

Yh makes sence, never had any troubles with rubbing, yet.

Heater matrix isn't too bad. I like to get lots of little boxes and take out each bit and its fixings and place them in that box.

Remember the one or two 10mm under the scuttle!

Yh that sound like a plan! I'm gunna do it over a weekend so have plenty of time. Yh I've only put the scuttle pannel on with two of the those crappy screws coz I knew I'd have to aka it off again. Any idea where I can get those plastic screws new? As most of mine are fekd and just turn.
