Around 35mm but the shocks will not last long so your better fitting a matched kit instead of doing the job twice.

na i dont believe that i went 40mm with no probs at all for well over a year not even a rub on the arb there seems to be a lot of old wives myths on here but not enough ppl actually trying it first just to add my shocks were still original parts so 14 year old  :wink:

Standard shocks are designed to work at standard height, lowering springs fitted will shorten lifespan.

Agreed, you are making the shocks work outside of the tolerances they were designed for and they will prematurely wear.

if going down the spring route just replace the top mounts and bearings same if you get the coils to  :smiley:

Any chance of a link or were to get some from mate cheers, sorry still quite a noob to all this lol

You could get them from eurocarparts with the 25% discount code from being on the forum. Id probably go genuine from TPS though as you dont want the hassle of changing them again if they fail.
