Anyone else find it stupid how some of the swimmers walk to the side of the pool wearing big coats and huge headphones!

If it was me, I would much rather walk out and take in all the atmosphere.

not at all... the coats will probably be keeping them warm from their pre-race warm up or massage

the headphones will probably be noise cancelling headphones and i would imagine that they are listening to motivational soundtracks or spoken word or some kind of subtle hypnosis

exactly... its at the end when you would want to soak it all up, not before as this would most likely affect performance

I guess so, everyone is different. I know if it was me, would rather hear the crowd and soak it all up.

The hunt for a gold goes on though, Tom Daley and his partner f**king up two dives to lose out on a medal.

Hopefully the cycling mid week can provide some golds
