No idea why, but mine doesn't sound anything like the other clips posted, it sounds far more refined and less loud.

I fitted it Monday, and I've driven 450 miles with it on down to cornwall and back, and on cruise it's no louder than my miltek non res system was. on idle it's perfectly quiet with a really nice deep note, then on full chat it sounds epic!

I would do mate, but I think Manchester is a bit far away!

What gets me, is all the other clips people have put up they sound really loud and kind of harsh if you get me, yet mine sounds REALLY smootha nd soft somehow :S

Very happy :) I didn't buy it for the noise, I bought it for the 3'' flow capabilities because I want to get the absolute maximum possible from my setup to see what can be achieved.

I needed it to come in under 100dBa for track days, and I'm fairly confident it will be easily under that, I'll be surprised if it's much over 90dBa at 4500rpm.

I'm in Basingstoke mate

Is 3" system too big for 180bhp mk4 tdi?? Got fabricated 3" system on car I'm breaking superbly made dint want it go to waste.

xtetx, I am happy to show you my 3" system/get an idea of what it sounds like/compare to yours. It is a little louder than my milltek. I am up near Blackburn. Car may go in the next 2 weeks though...

Awesome man, ive not driven my car in a week because i had an issue with a gearbox bracket - the one that then connects to the engine mount. (had to buy a brand new one from VW (76 quid! urgh  :sick:)
Well anway , for some reason, my exhaust has really quieted down, or maybe im getting used to it, but really seems not much louder than a standard exhaust really, under load sounds great but im really surprised how it has stopped being so noisey!
