So far, this year, my Golf has done less than 40 miles! because of the weather  and that was to GTI International and home twice!

Thom

I did more than twice that mileage in mine today

I would put Thom's in a glass case. He does drive that hard when the suns out!

Mine has done about 500 miles. I use my Punani Honda as it's more reliable

I've done about 7k in mine this year.

It's such a good car, it stands up really well as a daily driver. Luckily, I live only 12 miles from my work -  but it's such good fun, I tend to take the scenic route (if only to make sure its properly warmed up).

Sweeping statement! I see my car every day, polished and safe in the garage, out of the elements that can quickly deteriorate, sunlight can do as much damage as acid rain. I savour the times when I get an unexpected chance to take the Golf for some very quick A road driving, my car gets driven very hard!
If my car got driven regularly, then I would have lost interest ages ago! It would have deteriorated, and would have well over 100k on the clock by now, I would have sold it ages ago
