Sounds like he got a good deal!

Seriously, an 8v even in v good nick is still only worth about £600

I had someone wanting to buy mine for £2000 without wheels.

there worth as much as people will pay.

I've cammed mine and raced my mates 16v. Nothing in it. Might of helped that I was in his slipstream but he didn't pull away

Then he cams his, so you get in your VR6

Hahaha always I winner

thanks thought it was more than that for some reason
The 16v is more powerful and is the mk3 of choice, get over to the mk3 section of the forum and get some pictures up and don't listen to the haters, the 8v is a perfectly capable GTi and no more prone to rust than many other cars of this age.

I like many Mk3 owners will stick up for the Mk3.. but come one at least make things believable, there is a line and you crossed it!
Yeah but mine will drive across that line , not roll across on empty.

8v is a good daliy cheap to run and fun to drive 16v and VR not much between them from my experience other than it costs more to do it in a VR and lets face it you can have 350bhp but when and where can you use it on Uk roads apart from off the lights and down some duel carriage way and thats about it before the plod catch you.

You may be new to this driving milarky so ill educate you, when that white stick starts touching the red bit you go to these things called a petrol station... still with me?... you put a green nozzel that says super unleaded (you drive a vr so obviously not a tight arse gti owner) and squeeze till a required petrol volume has been reached. You pay and cross the line still ahead of a 8v

But i don't want a bog standard 1.6 corolla and i don't want to go really really fast because thats how you lose your licence...i assume you have one of those.

8v will be ok for now its just a run around as my toy is a discovery 300 v8 thats running 4.1L and around 350bhp can wheelspin all 4 wheels
