Cheers mate. Im sure the hel braided lines i saw were slightly thicker.
Anyway just rebuild my old mans nissan almera caliper (handbrake lever seized) common. But its a bugger to put back together. Its the spring that needs compressing. Anyway will start my calipers soon.

The stainless fittings and braided cover are for show really, zinc plated ones will live long enough and are just as strong if not stronger.
They will just look a bit rusty next year, which is not good for someone with car OCD
My hoses are uprated and look just the same as a normal pipe, very boring I know

Im more than happy with them.

Zinc plate will no way ever last aslong or be as strong as stainless, Infact I dare say they would corrode after time
The overbraid is not for show its to keep the lines firm I was told by the guy at HEL

Where I work we use zink nickle plate and its used on cheap valves. The better valves are always stainless steel, 316, F51 etc

I wouldn't say no to having them on the car but I'd still
Rather have the stainless versions
