£130 FOR THE FOB
£80 PLUS VAT TO PROGRAM FROM THE MAIN DEALER IN CARLISLE,CUMBRIA

i have just got a new fob and programed from a lad my friend new who does key cutting for £120, miles cheeper than the main dealer
and the fobs are genuine but not from the main dealer
and he can get the key code from his system they use

if you could get a fob and key cut you could find some one wid vag com to program it to your car for cheaper

If you want it just for a spare key you can go to timpsons or some other shoe repair/key cutters they will cut you a key, chipped that will work but wont be a remote key so will need to lock/unlock at the door but on the upside they will only charge you £25,a friend popped in the other week on my behalf and they said they can do 90% of VWs.

If it does set the alarmoff it should only be until you put the key in the inition and turn to fire it
ARZ K03s, Oettinger Side Skirts, R32 front, Carbon stage 2, Forge 007p (yellow spring), Forge Actuator (yellow spring), Pipercross panel filter with DSG parts, N249 and N112 deleted, SAI deleted, Carbon canister deleted, Rear wiper deleted, Long Life turbo back custom exhaust with 200 cell sports cat, VR6/G60 clutch kit, Creation Motorsport TIP, Catch can, 'Wellycooler', K04 charge pipe, S3 ported inlet manifold - looks pretty standard on the outside though :)
