I feared the worst when the magistrate came in with his QPR shirt on this afternoon....  

Based on the evidence of what I've read I think definetly the correct decision and I'm glad for JT.

I'm more offended by the cost of the case to the tax payer than anything.

p.s. can we now get rid of Stevie-me Gerrard as England Captain. It was blatantly clear from the euros that JT was leading the team on the pitch ( not that that did us much good in the end ).

Is there?. They're all looks you're born with (and some fatties are genetically fat - or simply can't shift it).

So what's the big difference? One looks different to the other, but all are different to everyone else?

With out going into a huge debate no abuse is acceptable but racial abuse/prejudice has darker connotations & isn't acceptable in any form plus is illegal as said above.

He's a dirty, cheating , player and not a friend you can trust with your mrs, but he's not a racist.

I agree with some of the above comments. But lets not go there eh 

I feel this shouldn't have gone to court. Was it not some fan in the stadium who 'heard' JT make racist comments. f**king outrageous, he could have made any old bull sh!t.

I think this is actually an eye opening of how flawed our judiciary system is to a degree. At court we get so many cases like these that people pursue due to their pride, or just because they believe in it.

For instance, a black woman in her car is sitting there. White female in a car behind starts beeping, black woman gets out and gets racially abused as she just wanted to know why shes's beeping as she could of drove round her, white woman calls police, police arrest the black woman. After doing the usual nonsense at the police station the police can clearly tell the black woman did nothing wrong as the white woman had her father in the car who said yes my daughter was racially abusive. Yet the police still asked the white lady if she wanted to press charges for magical fairies and she did. All went to court wasted many hours doing all the red tape for the lady to get a slap on the wrist.

Would you say thats fair and how much that little scenario wasted of civil servant time, from police, to police staff, to court staff to the prosecution to the magistrates? Plus don't forget fines are based on what you typically can afford to which the magistrate or judge will take into account into their decision. So how much money do you think gets put back in the kitty, I'm sure its at a huge loss and as we know apart from that whats the alternative? Prison, oh wait that costs us even more 

Yes racism is illegal, but I'm sure if you wanted to you could claim damages for people calling you fat if they wanted to go that far, so be careful Ant
