mk3 golf vr6, a hot hatch?

dont think its a hot hatch really...205gti, clio williams, mk1 gti etc are hot hatches.....mk3 vr6 is a fabulous car but it is a heavy cruiser and ropey in the corners

As above lovely motors but I wouldnt say its a Hot hatch more a gentlemens Golf bit like the Porsche 928 was in the Porsche range back in the day.

If anything its the exact opposite of a hot hatch... such a lazy engine never any need to change gear. 15mph in 5th yeah why not ill play along

A lot faster but more BHP dont make a car a Hot hatch.

Having been in one and 'shrugging away' an r8 id say they are fast.... er at breaking down 

Yeah more power doesnt mean hot hatch. Great car but its like a V12 Aston. Easily eats up the miles as quick as it does the ££££'s
