just be careful if you do. I've just cleaned the spare MAF I got off Jamie with some electrical contact solvent cleaner from Maplin

Isopropyl alcohol is meant to be the best thing apparently

that rings a bell for some reason, probably in some household cleaner lol

I cleaned the MAF with the Halfords stuff, and so far so good. The red bit on the metal wire frame was a bit of red stringy fluff. I pulled it out with some tweezers without touching the metal wire frame!

I have cleared the codes, all three of them, as I had the infamous 17705 code come up since last check. So now I am going to go and sort it, as I do believe the boost issues are related to the T piece on the N112 valve, which leaves one of the ports open on the valve (because I snapped it ) But now I just received my new N112 valve and I am off to fit it

Its a bloody expensive part at £67 to break isn't it. I had to get mine off Ebay for £20. Still have not fitted it yet as it kept raining, so I just drilled and smoothed my air box instead  i think I will start on it soon this morning before the rain comes
