boost spike prob??

had my car remaped about month ago once done the car boost at 18psi. since having the car done i have not really gone far in it but yesterday done a 200 mile round trip now the car seems to only boost to 14psi and settles at 12psi.
the weekend i fitted a CAI could this be the prob???

i have agu 1999
no fault codes
checked all pipes cant see any leaks if this helps

I doubt fitting a CAI would do anything unless you havent attached it properly 
In all honesty, just check and re check something has obviously changed somewhere - remember boost leaks leak oil

should be boosting to 18-20 holding at 14-16 so more than likely got a leak somewhere

had a run out this afternoon for a play lol

should you get the boost spike in every gear???

im getting 12 to 14 psi in 1st / 2nd & 3rd around 4000rpm and in 4th if i put my foot down im hitting 18psi and then it drops and holds at 16psi is this about rite?? or should it be 18psi every gear
