Basically how much power can I get from a 110 TDi and how?
without doing any mods that are visible, ie a remap can't be seen by insurers. Don't want to sky rocket my insurance by declaring engine mods but want more power.

Or just keep an eye out for a 130 or 150 pd?

Hello,

The 110 AHF & ASV engines uses the older mechanical pump fuel delivery and the by remapping you will get close on 140bhp, but by fitting .216 nozzles. and a custom remap should see you closer to 160+bhp, for more power you will need a bigget turbo and remap to match.

Nick

Dug this up but I'm guessing the .216 nozzles are visible? Whatever they are

I think the "216 nozzles" may be th injectors from the 130/150 model as I heard to get any pod power from the 100/110/115 you need to swap the injectors

As said in tother Fred .216 nozzles are the injectors from a 2.5 tdi such ad the engines found in t4 transporters.

Sorry if you've replied.

So where would I go about purchasing those? From a breaking transporter I would guess? Also how difficult are they to swap onto the golf and what gains could I expect?

i remember looking at those injectors when going to get a 1z 90bhp diesel.

they do sell them on ebay just type in the .216 injectors and you should get some hits.
theres probably a guide of how to do it online somewhere and wont be too difficult.

but to warn you, doing this and the remap will chuck out a fair amount of black smoke when accelerating hard, this can then be stopped by getting a bigger turbo :)
