Well I think the first mod will be the mud flaps, deflectors and the remap from the local place.

Then it will be likely to be pads and discs followed by CH's and like you say where will it end??????

It will not end once you start

At some point I will be changing my Monza's out for some BBS wheels, would love LM'S but as I am not into the whole 'stance' scene I am not sure they would look that good sadly.

But I also really like these 18" CH's I believe..

I also like the CK's in anthracite, haven't a pic of those...

Basically you can't go too far wrong with BBs wheels

We'll see, more than likely get some anthracite CK's

Ride height and wheel width/offset is critical to making these look good, that said if you gt it right as per the car in the pic they look stunning

If your really brave/creative they can carry off coloured centres well too with an accent somewhere else on the car, this really is then starting to get into the whole 'VW scene' thing though which isn't really what this site seems to be about.

Sorry, Monza Shadows for me guys, it was one of the reasons i fell in love with the GTI in the first place.  Used to drool over them when near a GTI MK5, have them now on my MK6, wouldn't change them.  Really smooth & easy to clean - some of the ABS on show here must be a nightmare in that respect with all the spikes
GTI MKVI, 5dr DSG, Candy White, Bi-Xenon, ACC, 18" Monza shadow, RCD510 w/Dynaudio, Sunroof, w/2 baby seats... and she's a beauty.

If you want CK's then get and Edition 30 as they look the same  BBS = nice wheels but dont look quite right on a MK6, need something bang up to date. I agree why would you want to change from Monza Shadows
Current: GTI Edition 35 Candy White 5dr DSG 19" Glendale, RCD510+DAB, Dynaudio, Storage Pack, Parking Sensors

Gone: Edition 35, GTI Mk6, Edition 30, GTI Mk4, GTI Mk3, GTI Mk2 and my favourite the UR quattro
For those that dont know DSG is an electronically controlled dual-clutch multiple-shaft manual gearbox

By up to date, do you mean like Glendales? They're not to everyones taste. BBS's are tried and tested and are right on so many levels without appearing to be trying too hard. Just like a Golf really.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.
