As title am I right in believing the 02 sensor(lambda) is connected somehow to fuse 18 the fuel pump as I keep blowing fuses and have a short some were and check all wiring and all is fine no breaks or shorts...

seems to be the O2 and FP - so yes.

Might be worth changing fuel filter - blockage could cause additional load on the pump.
When does it blow - whilst driving / engine running? / or just ignition on?
