Rear wiper motor not working.Mk3 Golf

I changed my stalk, now the MFA don't work
Still at least the wiper works.....

So i take it that it is the control stalk thats the problem and that you was just unlucky to pick one up that had a faulty mfa?

Just bought a new stalk,I guess for nothing cause it still is not working.
Why is it that when I push the lever back washer works but the front wipers come on instead  ?

try the relay.. take it out and put it back in...do same with fuses for rear wiper, may just work! mot should not be a concern so you should be ok...

Turned out that my relay had come out and just needed pushing back in.

Its strange because the screenwash i can still spray out but the wiper wont work with it.

The rear washer uses the same motor as the front washer, it just goes in reverse for the back, so it has nothing to do with the rear wiper.
Found the problem the plug at the tail light that connects to the tailgate loom was disconnected
