Battery in key fob

The mk4 I'm doing work on the key fob doesn't work so I thought it was the battery in the fob, I have opened the fob and can't see a battery, am I just being thick or do they not have replaceable batteries?

Its a flat battery similar to a watch

As in synced to the remote locking??  Changing the battery doesnt affect the immobiliser part of the key.  Well, it didnt on mine  and it shouldnt do on anyones

You can re-sync the key providing you have a second key or vagcom

yea the fob didn't work after i change the battery, it started the car but didn't lock or open the doors.

The battery needed is a CR2032, like these. 25p a battery. Cheap as chips.
