Nope all were 5 speed, Leon Cupra was 6 spd however, seems strange the Vrs never got the 6 speed I guess it was all down to keeping the price down.

**UPDATE**

driving along today and there were some new noises going on....

driving around a car park, and there is a really load grinding noise!

i have also knocked it out of gear into neutral while the whining is happening, and originally it did stop. today it didnt, kepy making the whining / grinding noise even in neutral!

any suggestions? or is this all still gearbox related?
