Where in Kent? I thought howdens were highly regarded (but quite expensive)

From what I've been told it will be faversham based.so will be looking at moving there or nearby that is a nice area.

Any ideas?

I went faversham today to the farm with the little one, 6 undercover police cars flew past me down m2-a299  Turns out they was after that bloke that escaped from, prison.

Don't know much about faversham, but I been to the local highstreet and it seems like a quiet place. Whistable, isle of sheppy, canterbury and margate are easy reach and thats where my info ends

I been told faversham is a pretty quiet place in general,no little bar stewards hanging around the streets etc so seems a good option, also been looking at sittingbourne see a nice 2 bed house to rent with a lovely drive and garage, just what I'm after to take the mk4 off the road to get the project really going over time  should be hearing more about the job 2mrw morning so just hoping everything works out

Housing is cheap, I use to live with my parent in greater london on the kent boundry, prices are crazy as I looked in essex as well in the end I went to Gravesend way as the house prices really plummet and some area's are not bad either providing you do your homework. It's like my house a year ago I payed 117k for 2bed terraced, been looking around and atm I can get a fully detached 3bed with front drive for 175k with plenty of room to extend around the corner from me! Where as in greater london I'd be looking at 350k++

At least the beach is never to far away. Not been canterbury at night, but there's plenty of uni's there so I need to give it ago. I do enjoy going to the other end of isle of sheppy (leysdown) during the summer. Not to busy and have taken my dads boat out down there too as well as smaller rafts just for fun. Sittingborn and whistable are good for a walk down the beach followed by some chips.

I know mate house prices round here are ridiculous! It's just because of the area though like you say.we rent a 1 bed flat at the moment, small kitchen, average bedroom average living room, ground floor,no garden, garage or driveway obviously and we pay £800 a month for the pleasure!
Kinda drawn towards sittingbourne as you say it's right on the beach which would be nice in the summer.
Been looking at houses to rent tonight and have found quite a few between 550-700 a month with front/back gardens, drives and garages!
And the council tax is half of what we pay a year for a 1 bed flat lol makes me laugh.
Hope it all works ok good as we could really do with a change of scenery, I like going down to mongeham to my gf's dads when we go to visit her family, lovely place with nice views and nice people!
Different way of life, plus all I want is a space to stash the mk4 away to get working on her properly and can get a cheap diesel for daily lol

Sittingbourne doesn't have a beach. Faversham is a nice area.

£800 rent will see you in a 2/3 bed with garage (what were doing atm)

 I have sold myself the idea, better place to live, housing is cheaper = more money for the project! Plus my gf has been on about it for a while now.

My paperwork will be in the post tomorrow morning heading for Kent, so will get the ball rolling with any luck
