yeah I thought so, I know if they dont get ported the manifold gets stupidly hot because of the restrictions.
I had a little chat with Nick at R-Tech and he couldnt recomend it enough.

The only issue would literally be the intercooler pipe size. Idealy we would need 2.5 inches to allow for 280bhp upwards imo.
1.6-1.8t AGU K03s, Forge actuator, Forge 007p, turbo back exhuast, Ths front mount, Catch can, 5 piece silicone boost pipes and creation sports tip. Stage 2 atm 232bhp 270lbs. Waiting for custom mapping :-)

The one in the picture is a k04 version and the 300bhp one is an rs6 turbine and 2280 compressor wheel. Price at the moment is using your old k03/s and it's a tad under £600 but that includes all work and and uprated 10psi actuator . I make them on a one by one basis at the moment due to time. If I can get a few people interested in 1 go I can do probably do a discount as I'll be able to knock down my machine shop etc. .

Likin the look of these, just wondering as a thought what compressor wheel can be put in place of a standard k04-023 wheel to make more power? Is this possible??

2000 GTI 1.8t ARZ, S2000 filter, DSG intake, Forge 007 dv, Catch can, R-tech custom remap, 3" Supersize Silicone TIP, Powerflex dog bone, 'The Beast' FMIC, Ultimate delete, LCR fuel pump, 3" Turbo back, K03 hybrid, Ported Manifold, S3 injectors, 80mm maf = 280bhp 270lbft

2280 and 2283 compressor wheel can fitted. 2283 is from  the ttrs and in k04 hybrid , 2280 is slightly smaller and better suited to k03 . Hot side is really limiting factor .
