Looks interesting. I am currently building a bigger spec hybrid which looks like this.

The compressor on the left is from the new rs st and complete, looks like the second picture one on the right is stock k04. This will be around 300bhp in a stock k03 format.

That t3 is a .42 trim compressor which depending on which turbine is fitted might be the same as a k04-001 or possibly a k04 turbo.

My latest spec has the rs6 turbine and 2280 compressor all in the k03 format. I'm not say that mine is any better or the one Wazzer posted isn't any good but not sure it's that good.

I will be intrested in one of these bad boys soon
I want to keep stock k03 fitment with no hassle of new intercooler pipes, exhuast mani's and down pipe etc
1.6-1.8t AGU K03s, Forge actuator, Forge 007p, turbo back exhuast, Ths front mount, Catch can, 5 piece silicone boost pipes and creation sports tip. Stage 2 atm 232bhp 270lbs. Waiting for custom mapping :-)

Likin the look of these, just wondering as a thought what compressor wheel can be put in place of a standard k04-023 wheel to make more power? Is this possible??

2000 GTI 1.8t ARZ, S2000 filter, DSG intake, Forge 007 dv, Catch can, R-tech custom remap, 3" Supersize Silicone TIP, Powerflex dog bone, 'The Beast' FMIC, Ultimate delete, LCR fuel pump, 3" Turbo back, K03 hybrid, Ported Manifold, S3 injectors, 80mm maf = 280bhp 270lbft

That is surely half the fun though...Having to uprate mani/exhausts to allow for better air flow...I'm sure you couldn't just strap on that wopping great mofo and get 300hp from just a map.  :undecided:

Not really mate, The stock manifold can flow enough for 300bhp if ported (Or so iv been told and read)
My down pipe and rest of the exhuast system is 3inch right back with decat.
The only issue would be the intercooler and pipework would be restrictive.

Im sure if a THS intercooler, vr6 maf and bigger injectors was fitted you would still achieve 260-280 with a similar turbo above.

My understanding is aslong as you can get the flow right you would have no problem using standard k03 fitment. I wouldnt be chasing 300bhp if im honest. I would rather a nice smooth torque line power than a peak aggressive power.
