Inlet manifold for 1.8t gasket question
« on: 26 June 2012, 16:44 »
I have got a spare inlet manifold which im having sprayed as we speak, However I removed this for another 1.8t and it didnt have any gasket on there?

Am I right in thinking theres no need of having one unless you put a power gasket there to reduce intake temp or heat transfer?

Power gasket really lowers your intake temp, fitted mine a month back. Before fitted it on run couldn't touch intake manifold that hot, now just warm difference is amazing.
