Glendale's are Marmite wheels, all I can say from experience is that I have never had so many positive comments from people on how good my car looks (weekly) and the wheels usually get a special mention.  :cool:
Current: GTI Edition 35 Candy White 5dr DSG 19" Glendale, RCD510+DAB, Dynaudio, Storage Pack, Parking Sensors

Gone: Edition 35, GTI Mk6, Edition 30, GTI Mk4, GTI Mk3, GTI Mk2 and my favourite the UR quattro
For those that dont know DSG is an electronically controlled dual-clutch multiple-shaft manual gearbox

the 19s look way better in the flesh, you just need a remap to offset the extra weight :)

Its sometimes worth thinking about the medium term and your own approach to "value" how much you want pay right now and the medium term depreciation

Here is the car in a few years time;

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3937635.htm
Now = 2011 MK6 GTI - Reflex Silver
Past = 2006 MK5 GTI - Tornado Red and Solid Black

That's top book if ever.

There's a white one on piston heads with only 10 miles for 26/27k

Glendale's are Marmite wheels, all I can say from experience is that I have never had so many positive comments from people on how good my car looks (weekly) and the wheels usually get a special mention.  :cool:

I happened to see a Tornado Red Edition 35 up in Fort William a few weeks ago. It had the Glendales. If I'm perfectly honest the wheels just looked too bling on a GTI.

I have to agree with Steve. The first time I saw them in a showroom (on a black 35) I thought they looked like something from Ripspeed.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.
