Ye mate mk4 3door with a sunroof? Have you had the same problem its annoying me now
Yeh, although I never had puddles

I only noticed that the foam beneath my carpets were soggy when I ripped out all the cream carpet to replace it with black!! That's when I read up about the sunroof. Sure enough, there was loads of crap stuck in the nipple/grommet thing (that is located near the hinge on your front doors) be careful not to disconnect the rubber nipple from the drainage pipe, it's a PITA to re-attach!!!! :lipsrsealed:

Tip: Use some garden twine or wire and feed it down the drainage pipes to clear them!

Any problems, message me on here

This is probably the rubber nipples on the inside of the door, near the door hinges.  The water drains out of these from the drain holes in the corners of the sunroof.

The nipples can get clogged and need to be squeezed and cleaned so that water runs out of them.

Easiest way to check is openthe sunroof all the way and using a jug slowly poor some water down each of the srain holes.  If no water comes out and it backs up in the sunroof you know you have a blockage.

Kill two birds with one stone...

1) Have a cheeky crap on a long journey, or when you're stuck in traffic,

2) Get rid of the puddle building up in your footwell!

Win win!!
