Haggle a free tank of fuel

Bit late for that now deal is done ,but do ask you never know

Deal aint done until you have the keys

I already tried that, but was told I will get £25 worth of fuel.

They also tried to remind me how much they were making on my car sale, as is they were not making much, I replied with "don't care"

I should have added, "do you know how much I am paying for the car!!!"

Perhaps you could suggest that without a full tank of fuel you would not be in a position to pick up the car this month and would have to wait to next month. That would mess up their figures I suspect and they may be more willing to give you a tank. On the other hand, it could fcuk you over and you might have to wait longer lol

Oh also ask them to check the flux capacitor is fitted correctly as I've heard horror stories about the GTD where it's not fitted right and after a few miles it breaks down

Also ensure you get the skirting board ladder in the tool kit.

Can I just say this if you haven't already negotiated fuel or oil or anything else how can you expect it.........you wouldn't do that anywhere else.

No disrespect, but you also wouldn't get fcuked over at every opportunity anywhere else, when you have to constantly fight to get a good (fair) discount, barter to get things thrown in and then get hounded with crappy (lifeshine) overinflated (gap insurance) products. My dealer offered minor accident insurance, tyre insurance and god knows what else. And then I got messed around with allocation, lied to, and so on with the first dealership.

If you don't want to be faced with the constant fight to get a fair deal then it's pretty simple to buy a car online have it delivered to your door. We hound customers about products because there is a profit opportunity of course but we also have to being regulated by the fsa. Your situation with being lied to about allocation is the extreme and something I wouldn't expect to happen very often just one bad egg.

I agree mate, I ordered my A3 online and it was brilliant, however I found that my local Audi dealer weren't too happy about doing warranty work on the car as I hadn't ordered it from them, hence why I bought my GTI from a local(ish) dealer so I could really push them to fix any problems - and the amount of problems it's had I'm glad I did! I'll add to what you said about being lied to, it's not something I'd usually expect, however from this specific dealership (or their parent company in general) I would be shocked if they didn't lie or try to pull a fast one!

The salesman who I ordered the car off knew I wouldn't want any of the other products but I would imagine it's very easy money if you get someone who's easily persuaded to buy things like this, piece of mind and all that,

Oh I forgot to mension ask them for a litre of topup oil I got one. VW used to supply new vehicles with a litre on the mk5 but more cost cutting they don't do it now. They also supplied a make shift cardboard funnel and gloves.

I also asked if they do the pots of touchup paint they do and they said do you want one, yes please.
