Fault Code 17705
« on: 09 June 2012, 23:50 »
Before you start abusing me, i have searched!

Theres so many different threads on it and as soon as i come to a conclusion i read something else.

I do have a boost leak, i can hear it. Cars never gone into limp mode. Completely standard engine.

Whats the first thing i should do? The DV makes a noise so im gunna change to a 007P as im remapping the car in the near future.

Car does feel slow a tiny bit slower atm, at 2.5k revs and over.

Hope i provided some useful info, cheers for the help in advance!

Mine came on when my PCV valve was leaking. I replaced all my breather hoses with silicone and it's long gone. The best option is a catch can though really.

Drive the car then jack the front up and check all hoses for any sign of oily residue, typical places are the charge pipe to pancake pipe hose connection and inder the intake manifold.

If all else fail get a smoke test done
