So the US Spec direction has meant I needed to de-flush the bumpers and then paint the body white, I have repainted the mouldings black as a temp measure to sort any final smoothing. Finished the grille and tinted the headlights, painted the mirror bases black and the mirrors silver metalic and clear gloss over, resmoothed the front number paint area before a second coat of white.

Now with this US Spec colour coding do I go for VR6 smooth and colour coded bumper tops, with colour coded side mouldings or black OEM side mouldings???

As best i can, at this scale it's a little difficult. But if looks like it to you then I'm happy with that

Finished!!!

Changed the door cards so just the arm rests and door handles are covered in Red leather over Black leather trim.

Picked up a second model so I have two chassis, one with the Red rim alloys and the second as shown with polished rims.

As I'm planning a pop up spoiler cut out of the bootlid top I thought I'd show it with a Mk3.5 top with high level brake light.

The US Spec rear lights as fitted to my Cabrio and planned high level brake light.

Tried to show the front as a Vento (the best I can) with US Spec front bumper with running lights.

Just see the new door cards with Red leather arm rests and door handles.

Interior view.
