Bluefin

I am going to purchase bluefin plug and play for my 09  GTI, it's priced on their website at £365 but looking at Superchips website their plug and play is £455 is it the same thing?

My question is how easy is it to set up in the car, being female I don't want anything too complicated to set up as I won't be able to do it ad I'm not paying fr the privilege.

Cheers guys

demon tweeks do them on special for £365 with a k&n panel filter

get the handset in the post, register the hand unit and your car details using the software provided

then go to the car, plug in the OBD port just above the throttle pedal, next to the footwell light.

it walks you thru step by step uploading the cars file to the handset

plug handset into laptop, software automatically sends the file to super chips

wait a few minutes, get a text message and email to say your map is ready, plug in hand set to lap top and download file from server

plug back into car, walk thru step by step again, file uploaded, car much better, smile much bigger

the end

I think there is 20% off at the moment for the Diamond Jubilee so the £365 is the current price.

yes a custom map is better than a generic map BUT with the bluefin you can put it on and off whenever you like - literally takes 5 minutes

the flexibility of being able to remove it or put it back on plus it comes in the post so you can do it at home is a big benefit

also superchips will tweak your map if you tell them what you want altering.

like said though a custom remap will give better results but depends what your after

I don't know anything about Superchips but really glad to hear you're going for a map after waiting so patiently. You'll love how it transforms the GTI.
