My brother-in-law had Bluefin on his GTI. I thought it drove just like it should have done if VW had produced it like that. It might not make the big numbers that others claim to, but in the real world of day to day driving, who can really tell?

I've always used Superchips myself. They have been doing the job for decades, so they ought to know what they are doing.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

I have Bluefin, I love it. You'll be very impressed when you get it. It makes the car feel much faster in all gears.

Sorry, I'm a bit late but I also have the Bluefin plug-and-play. The reason I went for it is because I can revert back to standard if I ever need to (I drive a lot of miles etc). The increase is 207 to approx 250 brake and this without having to uprate any other components such as cooling, gearbox etc (you would have to do this if you went for more power).
I am completely satisfied with the change as I felt that the standard power was not enough, and although the increase doesn't sound much on paper you can certainly feel the difference !

Go for it, if you're initially cautious like me and then move up if you want to, to join this hardcore bunch !

Sorry, late for the party here as ever these days. Amanda, I have good experience of Bluefin.
Stage 1 is fine for a normal road car on standard suspension and brakes. Not as potent as REVO but less jerky and a bit less wheelspin and axle tramp. I'm sure Superchips could alter the file to make it more like REVO if you so wished, but you'll be happy with the normal version I'm positive.

Any problems you get uploading then just throw a few PMs in the direction of a few of us familiar with it and you'll be sorted in seconds (possibly better to email me or just reply on this thread as I'm not around much lately). Dead easy to use though.

Turns the GTI into a GTI instead of a typical boring modern hatchback.

Would Bluefin work on any mk6? Even if the ECU is locked and would normally need to be done on the bench?
Currently pootling around in our family wagen, a Tiguan SEL 😂
