You don't have the speed cams then. Like I said earlier I'm sure its not on the official software but could be wrong!

Ah okay

Is it possible to purchase software for the cams from somewhere?

The cams aren't that great to be honest as they only give you a visual display that they are coming up.

Unfortunately its not like the cams on the sat nav units Tom-Tom etc that play a sound so many yards before you approach them!!

Although I'm sure someone on this forum was working on that!!

I think that would require modified firmware - risky!

Member Mortygt140 added them to my RNS as a POI from an SD card. Might be worth asking him

Ahh I know this is possible but I really begrudge paying £20 a year for Pocket GPS..... I know only £20 but still! lol

I have the option on my system but they never com up on my display even tho i have them highlighted as POI.

i think that it must be a floor in the software. I will be going to specialist in a couple of weeks and i will ask him whether this is a common issue!

Hi

Any helpfull news yet.....

I was told by the guy i spoke to that it can be due to a number of reasons if its a retro fit.
Firmware being one main problem and also copied discs.

He didnt give any specifics really as he said different cars dont work for different reasons. sort of pot luck really to a certain extent.

Ya I did retrofit it my model is a version H with Hw - 64 and Sw- 4020 also I think my maps is 7690 .I Think when buying these units you are been told that they are new but there is no real way of telling if they came from the factory with that Fw-Sw version or if they have been updated to them versions which might be why people have the same unit versions but some have speed cams and some with out they don't all be the same
