I'm positive there was someone on here that took his retro fit RNS510 to the dealer and they swapped it for another one.
I know they updated my software on mine when I said my ipod was skipping* the first few seconds of a track even although mine was retro fitted.
*Turns out it was the way I had itunes set that was causing the skipping
Hmm probably could have given it a try but didn't fancy them ripping it out and trying to fit a new one, scratching the entire dash in the process. lol
Anyway, I just fit the new motherboard today. Took about 1 1/2 hours so not too bad, and that was without knowing what to do, taking the whole thing apart (and it comes into many pieces) and then working out how to fit it all back together. All fixed now, so need to see what I can do with the old motherboard, as there's a way of flashing them directly so could salvage it and sell it on.
