well for any one that still wants to know it is an mba engine that was a pre production engine in 1991

2.5 v6 24v 226bhp at 7500rpm max rpm is 8000 special forged crank , twin throttles with individual webber ecus

but it was never made :)

Thing is, is this engine worth using? It may be nice and powerful but spares for it may be extremely hard to come by and very expensive, even simple things like gaskets.

Depends how far down the line it was as a development engine, heads/block and most of the internals could be stock (apart from the crank) and the induction is 'test', the only worthwhile application i can think of would be grasstrack or maybe hillclimb.
