Could be a testbed/development motor, the induction system doesn't look 'production' ready.

Yeah someone on passionforford said it could be a pre production and maybe a collector's thing. That's before I got band from there

I would imagine the actual block/heads etc are probably the same as a production spec motor with the induction and plastic protection being non standard, not sure what interest there would be in it as the scorpio motor wasn't really special compared to the likes of the DFV.
