SKY HD+ cable problem

I took the cables out of the back of the box and the "F" pin thingy broke off somehow..... Is it repairable or replaceable? I really don't want to call Sky and pay them

Any help greatly appreciated

The pin is part of the cable, is it a screw on F connector or a crimp type?

If its screw on, screw it off, restrip the cable and screw it back on - simple....

Ifs a crimp connector, just buy a screw on one...

If its screw on then you dont need a new one.

You just unscrew it. Re-strip the cable and screw back on.

Same theory as a normal TV arial if you ever done one of them?

No problem. There is always something to moan about!

Its the exactly the same for a normal tv ariel. Can help if you loose freeview channels or get a bad image.
