however it is apparently boared out to a 3.0. didnt know you could boar that much of an engine out, everyone  i know have only done it by .1 or so of an engine, i.e r32t boared out to be 3.3T

if it is it could be quite interesting to see what power it could put out. and if its been done properly to a decent standard of work

or as he put is bored

Vr6 engines can be 2.8 or 2.9 as standard I believe, so you would only be going for an extra 100cc as you have said is possible.

The correct term is also 'bored out', not 'board out'

VR6's can also be found in the MK1 Sharan/Galaxy = 2.8 VR6 12V (possibly some 2.9's?) and MK2 Sharan/Galaxy = 2.8 'V6' 24V  as found in the Golf4 4Mo
Passat B5.5 2.3 V5 170, with all the extras.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Golf mk3 vr6 is 2792cc, corrado vr6 is 2861cc.
Not a huge difference.

True...

The better designed and larger volume inlet manifold, and better designed TB are fitted to the Corrado VR6, which accounts for some of the extra power and better drivability of the 2.9.
Those are good tweaks for an early 2.8 VR6.

Subtle stickers.

Is it just my PC, or is the last pic (of the interior) that of a Rover?
